Press Release
Anne Arundel Medical Center to Present Versus RTLS at AAMI
(Traverse City, Michigan, June 22, 2010) – Versus Technology, Inc. (“Versus,” PINKSHEETS: VSTI.PK) will be exhibiting at the AAMI 2010 Conference and Expo, June
26-28 in Tampa, Fl.
Richard Constantineau, Manager of Biomedical Engineering at Anne Arundel Medical Center, will be returning with encore presentations of “The
Advantages of Versus’ Real-time Asset
Tracking.” Constantineau will follow-up his AAMI 2009 presentation which
described the immediacy with which Anne Arundel obtained Return on Investment
(ROI) and nursing satisfaction. New this year are the impressive outcomes of
location and utilization studies related to big-ticket mobile equipment—complete
with hard-dollar net savings results.
This presentation is designed for AAMI attendees who are ready
to make global improvements to visibility and communication, but who question
the value of doing it now. A recent HIMSS Vantage
Point Survey (June 2010) indicates that 72% of healthcare IT
professionals recognize RFID/RTLS as playing an important role in enhancing safety
and efficiency, but 25% have not seen vendors produce the necessary ROI for
RTLS to demand budget priority.
Attendees will have multiple opportunities to learn more about
the benefits of tracking assets in real-time. Constantineau will deliver his
presentation on Saturday, June 26th at 6:30 pm as well as on Sunday,
June 27th at 5:00 pm. Throughout the Expo, Constantineau and other
experts in RTLS will be available in Versus’ booth, #109, to discuss real-world
outcomes related to recall events, inventory reduction, fleet management and
alert automation. An ROI calculation tool, developed based on actual customer
experiences, will be available for show attendees.
